A thin-bed tile bonding material engineered for fixing ceramic floor and wall tiles to rendered concrete walls and floors, even on plywood. This cementbased tile adhesive is also suitable for grouting, patching and other similar repair works.
1. Pour predetermined quantity of EUROTILES SUPERIOR TILE ADHESIVE into a clean receptacle or pail. Add clean tap water (approximately 1/4 liter of water for every kg of adhesive), mix, let stand for about 5 to 10 minutes and mix again until smooth paste is achieved free of lumps. The mixture must be used within 3 to 4 hours.
2. Area to be skimmed shoud be clean, flat, solid and free from dust, oils, wax, grease and similar materials. Wet the substrate (floor or wall) slightly before applying the adhesive. Trowel the mixture by the unnotched side at approximately 5mm thick unto the flat substrate. Spread the adhesive in approximately one square meter area at a time. Rib with the notched trowel. Around 3-4 kgs of EUROTILES SUPERIOR TILE ADHESIVE can fix one square meter of ceramic tiles.
3. Lay the tile to its preplanned pattern by pressing unto the adhesive bed. Tap into position, eliminating voids or trapped air. Complete the tiling by adjusting tiles in place and tapping a piece of wood (back of hammer may be used) until through and even.
4. Wipe off residue on tile surface with a damp cloth. Hands and tools can be cleaned with water.
5. Allow the tiling to set firm overnight before grouting with Eurotiles Superior Tile Grout.
